From a perspective that includes a sensitivity to multicultural issues, we review the strengths, resources and assets already working in order to create cultural diversity in the organization. We help identify areas of concern, and we examine the existing or potential impact of any major organizational initiatives.
We use surveys, focus groups and individual interviews to assess staff perceptions and complete a climate assessment. The following data also may be reviewed:
- written policies and procedures,
- EEO and affirmative action policies / plans.
Once the assessment is completed, we prepare a report. This report contains recommendations and strategies for maintaining, enhancing, or creating an effective multicultural organization.
