Foundations

VISIONS supports the work of philanthropy through our consultation to foundations. Two of the foundations with whom we have worked include the Rockefeller Foundation, and the W. K. Kellogg Foundation.

Typically, our work with foundations begins with an organizational climate assessment. Based on the recommendations of the assessment, a combination of interventions are then implemented including:

• coaching with key leaders,
  
• staff training/development, and
• leadership training/development.

Additionally, VISIONS encourages the integration of the multicultural process of change throughout the foundation, such as in communications across job levels, grant-making, and support offered to grantees during their grant period.
